| Alaska is the center of the world
for Factory Team member Rob Whitney. Try to tell him that there
are other places to ski in the world, and he might agree with
you until you suggest they are better than Alaska. Now Rob resides
in Bozeman, MT where he is a student at Montana State University,
and has been bothered with the need to race within the past
year. Rumors circled that he was mounting a comeback, and the
Factory Team confirmed his return status when they asked him
to be a member of the team.
It is impossible to predict what type of season Rob is going
to put together this year. You can be certain that he will
come back in shape, but it could take him a few races to get
the feel back. If you have a chance to meet Rob you will know
that he has the competitive spirit inside of him, and he won't
let two years of college life/retirement take him off the
podium. Wish him well in his first season back, and if you
ever want to know about skiing in Alaska he is the man to
ask.

fishing, tele
skiing, and exploring Alaska.
